The uniqueness of my work rests in my knowledge of stylistic history coupled with my ability as an inventor to work out practical solutions to interior design problems. I spent 4 years at university studying at the second best collection of Decorative Arts after the Victoria and Albert Museum: Temple Newsam House Museum, Leeds. So I am familiar with the history of 17th, 18th and 19th centry architecture, furniture, painting, sculpture, ceramics and prints. I am well versed in the field of hands on antique restoration and have an innate ability to see outside the box when it comes to finding restoration and design solutions.

This plaster statue maquette was about to be thrown into a skip but was exchanged for a case of beer. It was painted bronze colour at a later date. The paint was stripped off to discover it had been badly mended and patched with black polyester resin. The resin was removed and restored with soft plaster. It made £35,000.00 at auction once restored!
